SA7 Best of innovations at CES
Sleek Audio's SA7 has been named the International Best of Innovations product in the Headphones category of the CES best of Innovations 2011 Design and Engineering Award.
Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 35 product categories. The Best of Innovations Honorees are the products that received the top score in their category.
The SA7 Wireless Hybrid in-ear earphone sets a new standard for mobile audio performance through advanced design technology. The groundbreaking construction of this earphone is just one aspect of the technology it employs. A milled aluminum core houses a first-of-its kind custom tuned dual armature driver configuration. The drivers are encased in a layer of silicone, further protected by military-grade carbon fiber sidings and held together with a titanium hexagonal screw. The earphones also employ Sleek’s award winning VQ™ Tuning technology and detachable cable for moving from wired to wireless and back again.
“With the amount of time, research and energy we put into developing the SA7, receiving the Best of CES Innovations award for the headphone category is a tremendous honor,” said Mark Krywko, CEO of Sleek Audio. “Every detail of this product, from the build, to the customized speaker configuration was designed to offer something truly unique to the market,” added Krywko.
The prestigious Innovations Design and Engineering Awards have been recognizing achievements in product design and engineering since 1976. It is sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA®), the producer of the International CES, the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow.
